Have you (or someone you know) made a significant life change and found a new way to live what you love? Maybe you changed jobs or careers, or you left the corporate world to be your own boss. Maybe you moved or adopted a child or lost a lot of weight. If you’ve successfully changed course, we’d love to hear about your experience, your challenges and the solutions you came up with.
Who knows? Reading your story might inspire someone else to take their own first step. And we’ve found that telling your story is also an extremely helpful way to address the final step of our D.R.E.A.M. guide. (The “M” is for (Maintain.”) It gives you a chance to acknowledge and reaffirm the great changes you’ve made. So go ahead and share your story! Just tell us what you’ve accomplished right here by posting a comment in our blog.

I read your first two books and became committed to follow my dream - about 2-3 years ago. I was working crazy hours in Corporate America, and had no life!
I wasn’t sure what my dream was so I contacted a life coach. We decided I would become a photographer & chef and perhaps a food photographer. That way I could move to Jackson, NH (a quaint town in the White Mountains) in my 40’s instead of in my 60’s.
I quit my job, spent 2 years in school (culinary in the day, photography at night, spent a month in Prague with a National Geographic photographer, got married as now I could fit a man into my schedule, took up meditation, healthy eating & exercise - all stuff I never had time for!!)
I graduated and randomally got offered a job back in Corporate America - higher salary and 100% from ome. Individual contributor, no special projects and 25-40 hours a week!
As of last Saturday, we put our house in MA on the market and officially became Jackson residents!
Who knew that me dream wasn’t really a career change but a company change. I still have lots of time for my cooking and photography as hobbies.
Who knows what the future will bring but right now I am living in my dream!! It’s like being in a Lifetime movie!!!
Thanks to the Blanchards for the books that motivated me!!
